Croatian car manufacturer Rimac Automobili is one of the biggest stars on the 88th Motorshow in Geneva. They have discovered the look and performances of the Concept One successor. The fastest supercar in the world, despite a weight of 1950kg, reaches a speed of 100km/h in just 1,85 seconds, while 300 km/h can reach in only 11,8 seconds
In addition, despite being the fastest car, the new Rimac supercar is currently considered to be the smartest and most connected car in the world. The intelligent equipment of this supercar follows what's going on around the car with 8 cameras, 6 radars, 12 ultrasound sensors and 2
"The drive system was developed specifically for this car. That is, the battery system, chassis, motors, inverters, gear shift... Only the initial idea of an electric supercar came from the Concept One. " said Mate Rimac, just before discovering C_Two at the Geneva Motorshow. The C_Two will be homologated for all world markets.
The growth in production and expansion of the Rimac Automobili business required the transition to the most advanced software. The development of advanced technologies, as well as the production of complex products, requires software that enables faster design, virtual simulations, organization and preparation of manufacturing process. For this reason, in 2016 Rimac Automobili started a strategic partnership with CADCAM Group and Dassault Systemes based on the implementation of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, on which C_Two has been designed.
"C_Two we've been doing from the scratch. We have not taken anything from Concept One. Nothing was purchased and just embedded. We have developed everything by ourselves from scratch and I'm proud to make such cars near Zagreb in Croatia. Go to the limit and do in the car everything that is possible today, that's what we wanted to do." said Mate Rimac just before discovering C_Two at the 88th Geneva Motorshow.
