Dassault Aviation new Falcon 5X made its maiden flight on 5 July 2017, taking the air from Bordeaux Merignac airport. This 2-hours long flight is the first one of an initial test campaign. The flight validation and certification one will take place next year (when Safran will deliver certifiable Silvercrest engines). More info on this event

And finally, of course, the newest one which has just flown: the Falcon 5X developed with CATIA Version 6 (which is now CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE).
The Falcon 5X is then the first plane fully designed with CATIA Version 6 and ENOVIA V6, which have been chosen for this program to facilitate the global collaboration between all the suppliers and partners.
