On June 13, 2019, at Pro Karting Brnik, we organized a pleasant gathering for our users from Slovenia, where we presented the innovations of the softwares that they encounter on a daily basis.
David Celestina, director of the company, in the introduction explained how to improve processes, set goals and set timeframes in the act of optimization the production process, focusing on the DELMIA software. DELMIA is a modern solution that reduces costs and increase production, offering a set of tools to support industry at global level. Delmia Ortems is a tool that successfully complements traditional management systems with advanced software. It enables constant optimization of resources and rationalization of production flows - from raw materials to finished products.
In the following, we presented a DMU Space Analysis module from the DMU module (Digital mock-up). This solution allows users to search for differences between the old and newer versions of the model. This tool significantly facilitates and accelerates work, tracking, and managing changes for engineers and developers. Participants of the event also listened to the presentation of the RSO Realistic Shape Optimizer module. This is a very effective tool, which aims to optimize the geometry of the model (tools), based on preliminary analyzes, simulations or measurements (spin recovery, bending in plastic spraying ...). The use of these solutions brings the greatest benefits in the early development phases, which include rapidly examining ideas and evaluating concept solutions, and can also greatly assist engineers in the design phase and virtual product or process evaluation.
We also talked about simulations and how today's investment in simulations saves time and money. The participants also had a chance to learn about the software for simulating fluid dynamics, which can also be integrated into various CAD modelers. This approach enables the implementation of demanding CFD simulations in engineers' familiar environment. The introduction of dynamics of fluid dynamics early in the development cycle has undoubtedly and in real cases great added value for both employed engineers and the company.
After the presentations, we relaxed and tested our racing skills by racing on the karting track and enjoy good food.
"It was a great pleasure for me to see such a large number of participation on our traditional gathering of users. Participants were from different industries, which gives us additional motivation to continue with our work and consequently continue to offer advanced solutions to different industries. More and more of our users are young, promising and enthusiastic engineers who give fresh impetus to the Slovenian industry and confirm that the solutions we offer to the market are well received by users who have just started their engineering path, " said David Celestina, director of CADCAM Lab.
